It doesn’t seem possible, but Thanksgiving arrives tomorrow. I’m in the kitchen working on make-ahead dishes while hoping for a moment or two where I can add words to my largely abandoned new NaNoWriMo project.
I suspect you may be in a similar boat. So, while we navigate our Thanksgiving/NaNo tasks, I defer my blogging duties to a post from a couple of years ago that many people enjoyed. It’s my slightly amazed nod to a Thanksgiving tradition of old. Click HERE to enjoy a sliver of relaxation (not unlike a sliver of pie – but less calories) before you get back to work.
And from me to you, a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Pat! I’m about to go throw a little flour around as well, so let’s hope I can keep my face clean. 🙂 Wishing you and yours a delightful holiday weekend.
A peculiar old custom for sure!
Lisa, I hope you and your family have a relaxing and peaceful Thanksgiving. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving Pat.
May there be no lumps in the gravy!!
I personally can’t wait for Dutch Apple Pie.

Thanks, Linda & gang! Hope your Thanksgiving is fabulous!
And I hope you get an extra slice of pie. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, caren! Hope you have a wonderful day.
Happy Thanksgiving, Pat. I hope your NaNo project is coming along well. I probably won’t even make my goal of 20,000 words, but I am thinking about my novel all the time. : ) And I have added some words. I think I extended my goal to December 31, now. Happy writing!
Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful, Margo!
I didn’t “officially” do NaNo this year, but the excitement and dedication of my fellow writers got me motivated to start a new novel that I’ve been thinking about for a while. I clocked 31,000 (really rotten) words by the end of the month. Hopefully it won’t stop there. 🙂
NaNoWriMo can be a tad stressful, but it sure does tease out the urge to write!
